Rivers, McAdoo headline Jordan Brand National Team

CHARLOTTE, NC – Today Jordan Brand released its National Team roster. No. 1 Austin Rivers and No. 5 James McAdoo both made the East squad. Rivers, the 6'4 shooting guard from Florida has committed to Duke. McAdoo is a 6'8 power forward from Virginia and committed to North Carolina. Rivers and McAdoo are two of the top five players that will play in the 2011 Jordan Brand Classic in Charlotte on April 16. The others are No. 2 Anthony Davis (Chicago, IL/Kentucky), No. 3 Michael Gilchrist(Elizabeth, NJ/Kentucky), and No. 4 Quincy Miller (High Point, NC/Baylor).

This year’s Jordan Brand Classic will also include a Regional Game, showcasing the top prep players from the state of North Carolina in an East vs. West showdown.  In its fourth year of the event, an International Game will feature 16 of the top 17-and-under players from around the world.
